Itβs true... we do need some delusion to carry on, but it should never be at the expense of a child (or someone who canβt consent to it).

Nietzsche doesn't get into the morality of it; he just points out that it's a fact of existence. Peter Wessel Zapffe talked about it in his Last Messiah, where he denotes the 4 major anchoring points of humanity.
