I heard Neanderthals were quite smart. Apparently they were the first to bury their dead. Humans mated with different types of them... their genes still live on, but theyβre lucky to be long gone.

I don't know if they are long gone or not. I've seen a few people around here who make me think some of them have slipped through the cracks.
