I despise doctors. Many of them talk to me condescendingly. They lack empathy + assume they know whatβs best for me. They are invalidating sometimes + aggressively forceful in nature.

I never go to the doctor unless it's absolutely necessary. A quarter of a million people are killed every year in the US from medical errors. It's the third leading cause of death. Doctors are major fuck ups.

Wow, I didnβt realise it was that bad over there. Doctors seem to mostly prescribe painkillers you can buy over the counter. When you know yourself + your body well enough, you self-medicate in your own way + doctors in my experience at least, absolutely hate that.

Doctors here in the US prescribe opioids that people don't really need so they'll get addicted. Doctors are drug pushers for Big Pharma.

I agree. Itβs the same in my country. We have state subsidised medication + we also advertise medications on radio + TV like they do in the US.
