Are you talking about some or all humans ceasing to have kids?

I'm of the persuasion that imposing life involuntarily on others and putting them in harm's way is unethical

Same. But what is the point of saving the world so animals can continue to exist in a pitiful state: tearing each other to pieces, starving, infested with a parasites, periodically obliterated by volcanoes and asteroids?

The term "saving the world" is a cliche that environmentalists often use. I'm suggesting if they really want to "save the world", i.e., be more environmentally friendly, then the best way to accomplish that is to not breed anymore carbon footprints.

Ok I get ya. I think most environmentalist could get on board with moderate antinatalist measures just not human extinction
