The only biological value you have is when the last of your remains becomes fertiliser for the crops.

Lol...
I read somewhere that someone figured out the human body is worth about 98 cents worth of chemicals...

For some reason, I picture someone trying to use acid to dissolve human remains like the Acid Bath serial killer. I thought after becoming fossil fuel in the next thousand years we would be worth a bit more π.

Acid would destroy the chemicals, so that would be a no go.
The estimate of the chemical content of the human body I had read about was from quite a few years ago. So, the value is probably a little more than that now. We might be up to $1.50 by now.

Gosh, even when we are dead, we still are worth nothing to anybody, except people who perform voodoo or some other black magic using human remains. Thatβs why cemeteries always have security guards. Iβm against organ donation bc I donβt want to prolong anyone elseβs life.

If you identify yourself as the body, then, yeah, it's not worth much. But we are not the body. We are the consciousness of the body. Science has yet to determine what that consciousness is. Some mystics say it is spirit.

Our bodies are only biological vehicles for our consciousness. I hope my consciousness returns to an abode of peace. Nothingness will always be heavenly in comparison to this realm of existence.

Maybe consciousness has to go thru various forms before learning not to become embodied again... I don't know... there's so much more that we don't know than what we do know

We will only find out when are no longer here. Then the fun mystery will be over. I always entertained the idea of reincarnating as a mountain or tree, but even being non-human would make me despise having to share the earth with people.

We don't know what's gonna happen when we leave this body. For all we know, the mystery may even deepen...
