I don't want to get into personal attacks on J.P., but, rather examine the logic of both sides of the argument, pro and con, regarding pronatal vs antinatal... Peterson's case is a reiteration of "life is a gift" when, in fact, life is an imposition.

I like Peterson, I like how he’s able to shut people down in debates

He wasn't able to do that in his debate with Benatar, but, instead, Benatar appears to maintain his position quite well. Peterson really had no counter argument except the rephrasing of tired old cliches that every antinatalist has encountered in debates.

Of course not he’s going against Benatar lol, but I do respect how he’s able to hold his Composer it debates and not get all flustered like most do

He gets flustered when he goes up against Benatar. He even tried to connect antinatalism with German Nazism of the 1930s... Peterson was grasping for anything... he appeared rather foolish.

I never said it was a new debate. I'm not a follower of Peterson, so I hadn't gotten around to it. And this debate reinforces my not being an admirer of Jordan Peterson.
Anyway, I often review old videos and books and find content that I had missed before

No worries, mate. I mainly used Peterson's lame counter argument from the video as a means to make a tweet about it. That life is not an "opportunity" but an imposition. I know it's been said before, but there may be others who are unfamiliar with these ideas
