I think if there really was a god, why would he make such creatures as us so flawed and defective-suffering, pains, mental disorders, cancers, rapist, greed, etc...

damn right....lets talk efficiency,if the world was not full of toxins we might put in our bodies with food,we wouldnt have kidneys and other useful organs like those.

Exactly, why make such flawed creatures with no real meaning to our existence a lot doesn’t make sense to me with the whole god is our creator theory

Charles Darwin can clear that up for you

You actually got me into reading more of Darwin here recently

I was reading his 'Origin of Species' this morning. Also, Celine's 'Guignol's Band'. I have multiple books going all the time. Ligotti's 'Songs of a Dead Dreamer' last night...
Evolution is the key. The Old Testament god is a tribal god of the ancient Hebrews

That’s like me, but I can only do two books at time and usually books from same author and than I write down quotes in my notebooks that stick out to me

I'm impulsive. I grabbed Celine's 'Journey..." & quoted a few lines on Twitter last night. That book is incredible. I pick it up & leaf thru it & I find more stuff I had overlooked before. The greatest book ever IMHO.

Yes it’s one of the greatest books I read too, have you ever read Bataille's “Story of the Eye”

No, sir. I have not read it. Is there a PDF of it online?
I was looking for a Celine quote last night and it looks like a lot of his books are online.
Yeah most of Celine’s books are online and I send you a link for Story of the Eye

Thank you, sir. I will give it a gander. I like to preview books online. And if I really like them, I get a hard copy.
