If only permanence has beauty, and ephemerality can have no magic, and we should only value what endures, that is indeed a bleak existence. Not one I choose.

I don't want to sound too woo-woo about life, but it seems to me *lifeforms* decay, disappear, and transform into other lifeforms. Life goes on, I'm afraid (not that I'm pro- or anything.)
