I'm glad somebody on here likes Burroughs. I posted a video of him reading to an audience about a week ago and it was so good. But no one liked it. I was about ready to delete my account over it coz I don't wanna be associated with ppl who dont like Bull Lee.

I use to live a few miles from his house he use to live in 1949 that Jack Kerouac wrote and described in his 1957 novel On The Road

Yeah, I think he shot his wife in the head and went on the lam. Ended up in Algiers, if my memory serves.
That's the story that's come down to us. He called it the old William Tell trick, or something like that. They were probably all higher than a Georgia pine at the time.
