Certainly not all childfree/antinatalist people resent their parents, but when parents (or decorum- and conformity-minded siblings) become aware of the views of their children (or sibling) there often can be some hard feelings.

I was invited to a family thanksgiving about 10 years ago. Never invited back. And I wasn't harsh to them. Just cracked a few jokes like I always do.
