Survival involves self-deception + belief in many lies to distract people from uncomfortable truths. The more rabbit holes there are, the busier + more distracted we become + this enables us to continue our prolonged survival.

Also, movies. We like to watch movies. I watched "Leprechaun" the other night. I had no idea leprechauns are so mean. I thought they were nice and made cookies and stuff. Wrong! Luckily, Jennifer Aniston & friends were able to defeat the mean ol leprechaun.

Leprechauns are supposed to represent good luck, I picture a small handsome man in a green suit with a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. I guess thereβs more to it than meets the eyes. I see them a lot on scratchie tickets + pokie machines, I guess maybe they are evil.

I was in shock after watching it. I will never be able to look at a leprechaun the same way again. Hollywood has shattered my illusions.

Damn! That sucks! If I watch that movie, I will end up like you + I've always loved leprechauns + thought they were really cute + charming.
