Water companies are privately owned. If a water company doesn't like your opinion, should they be allowed to cut your water off? They can say "Well, we're privately owned. Buy your own water company." Or electric company. Or phone company. Or bank. And so on

I'm not saying he's not ridiculous, but people seem to forget that social media platforms are privately owned companies, not public forums. Hence why, you should buy your own web platform if you don't want someone else to censor you.
