Did you ask spiritual_antinatalist that question? I can't find their account. I know the Bible has some antinatalist passages in it. Jesus and Paul were antinatalist. Ramana Maharshi, highly revered Indian sage, was antinatalist.

Well, it's not a contradiction. The more spiritual one is, the less likely they are going to indulge in the carnal desires of the flesh. There have been entire Christian sects that were antinatalist. Look up the Shakers here in the US, which are now extinct.

A lot of the Gnostics were antinatalist. They viewed being born as the fundamental problem. They saw the physical realm as fundamentally evil. This stuff is all on the internet if you want to look it up.
