Hahaha noo I used to be a practicing muslim. Prayed 5 times (tried to), always fasted, gave extra charity, and the same old. Now I'm an ex-muslim.

You're still very enmeshed with Islam, though. Islam appeared on the scene in early 7th century and rapidly became a world empire. It really was an amazing historical phenomenon. A work of pure ideological genius. Word 'genius' is derived from Arabic 'jinn'

The cause of being enmeshed is due to my environment. I cant criticize it openly,while it gets imposed over me all the time. True,it appeared in the 7th century, but it spread through the sword.The people who "willingly" converted on it were helpless.Its true sources are unclear.

All religions were spread by the sword. Christianity did not conquer Europe by prayers and faith alone. It'd be tough to have Islam forced on me (or any religion, for that matter). I have a sense of your frustration. Venting on Twitter is good. Keep at it.
