I think people, as a whole, are getting stupider. The species is devolving.

I don't know that people were ever as smart as they thought, it's just that the internet's allowed everyone to witness the stupidity on a new level.

Some people are getting smarter, but there are so many more people now than ever before... And every time I look on my computer, my face is rubbed in the stupidity of the masses. If we've evolved at all, we've evolved on a superficial level.
