I dont get this obsession with riding horses. Why the need to imprison and enslave another sentient being in order to ride around on its back and force it to do what you want? WTF? And for no reason. Just for the fun of it. Can't we evolve a little bit?

I owned a horse once upon a time. Mainly to feed it & clean up after it. When it got infirm, I did what I was supposed to do. I loaded it up, took it to auction, sold it for dog food.
I'm guilty of so much more than behavior that offended other humans. So much more.

I have friends who ride horses. Don't take it personally. But I always thought it was strange, this need to break another animal's spirit & to ride on its back & make it do your bidding. Just an observation. In olden times, horses were used for transportation
