Antinatalism. I wrestled with the arguments for a while, but came to no conclusions at the time.
I've recently formulated an argument against it that at least seems plausible to me, but I'd like another perspective, and I respect your approach from what I've seen so far from you.

Yeah. You're gonna have to explain how you came up with the first premise "some actions ought to be done". That's not a fact, but a moral prescription.
I think the example Singer uses is, if you find a toddler drowning in a fountain, you have an obligation to save them, even if it comes at some personal cost to yourself.
Given that antinatalism is a moral-prescription, I figure they're legitimate premises to use.
