Why do people ask for prayers to their god after their god has created a devastating disaster, like a tornado that rips thru a town and kills many people and leaves a trail of destruction?
I don't get it.

Because Satan created the tornado. Duh.

One of my favorite Bible stories is the one about how God and Satan are in Heaven wagering a bet as to whether Satan can break Job's faith by killing his family and giving him diseases. And, God is like "Oh, hell, yeah... bring it on, Satan".
