Key to #Nietzsche’s popular success with atheist-amoralist folk is his materialistic mysticism, a
sleight of mind that makes the world’s meaninglessness into something meaningful and
transmogrifies fate into freedom before our eyes. #Ligotti

I didn't get that from Nietzsche. To me, he demonstrated everything is meaningless, merely one's own interpretation. And "amor fati" is the old Stoic ideal of acceptance of one's fate, to wish things to happen as they do and not as one desires them to be.

I do agree w/ u w/regard the "amor fati" but I still consider Ligotti critique of N. valid as his Dionysian pessimism still "values human life primarily for its natality and futurity, & its capacity to produce something new & different w/out knowing that something will be".

In retrospect, yes, Nietzsche proposed the uberman, that mankind was to overcome itself & he wrote about the revaluation of values, of coming up with new values to stave off nihilism. He was a many faceted writer & had trajectories of ideas in many directions
