The question "what do you want?" means, when you get on Twitter, what are you looking for? or on any social media? or if watching TV, what do you want from it? or whatever you are doing, to what purpose? What do you really seek? or is it all just distraction?

I want peace, freedom, love, mystery, wonder, inspiration, safety, connection, true excitement, meaning and pride for existence. But instead i have to tend to the morbid needs of a decaying corpse. So yeah everything i do here is for distraction and escapism.

i'm looking for ways to ignore this migraine at 4 a.m. and twitter is the best way to do that (a new answer) (24/7 ability to read what ppl are screaming into their computers - the closest i can come to feeling a sense of belonging on planet earth at this time)

Migraines suck. My ex had them. She would become incapacitated & couldn't move her head, the pain was so great. I felt so helpless watching her suffer like that.
Whatever I'm doing, I ask myself "Is this really what I want?" And, if not, I try to get closer
