I just didnt want you to be mad at me. I laugh at everything sometimes. I saw the meme & that guy's face & read the blurb & I was laughing. Then I thought maybe she didn't want this to be funny. Unless I'm in bad pain, I am going to laugh in the face of death

I didn't think it was funny or not funny - I just thought it was very honest and so very rare - I just heard of him that day - I want to read his book "Childhood" - (plus I relate to that quote)

That's it! That's what I was laughing at. It was the matter-of-fact, dry way in which he communicated that struck me as odd, if not comical. Very rare to find in this world of fakers & posers (myself, included). Thank you.
