It's like my mom, who will tell me about all of the horrors & suffering & death that is striking her friends & family & then, I'll say something like "Yeah, life sucks" & then she'll slap me & yell at me not to talk like that & I should change my attitude

All my life, when people have told me to try to stay more almost hysterically "happy," - & I'd finally dare to say: "Um, U DO know what happens to U & everyone U care about & who cares about U, Right?" ...They'd look at me like I just made all that up - to shit on their "joy!"😜
