I know people that were directly involved with “The Family” for a time. Crazy, bizarre people that spiritually abuse young/naive people. I need to see this documentary.

I watched that documentary last week. I was like "what?" The doc didn't really go into their theology. "Jesus plus nothing". I looked em up on the Internet. Still couldn't figure it out. Ha! Tim Heidecker? That's the guy from Adult Swim, right?

Yeah, I watched the documentary. I got all of that. But I couldn't figure out what their theology was. Coe said it was "Jesus plus nothing". And, that's it. I was like "whaaa?" Haha

Yeah, I wouldn’t say their ultra conservative or very dogmatic. They’re just obsessed with leaders, power, success, etc. Basically, God chooses people to lead and we are assisting God in finding and making leaders of the future. It’s a group I would want nothing to do with.
