Personally, I wouldn't want to go see Metallica. Being in a large crowd like that would make me crazy. Haha. But to each their own. If it makes you and him happy, then go for it. I am not against happiness as long as no one is harmed.

Well, if you do it, don't do it expecting anything from him in return, like appreciation. You know he's not well. Just do it out of the goodness in your heart & then let it go. I'm not trying to lecture you. Just tryin to head off any resentment later on.

I hate goin anywhere, anymore. Haha. But when I was 30, like you, I was bouncing around all over the place. So, go for it. Do what you want to do. Travel, go to concerts, see your friends. Enjoy yourself. You deserve it.

I understand. I have mental & emotional problems. I self medicate. My living habits are probably not very healthy. I should go out more & try to be more social I guess. But maybe not. People really get on my fuckin nerves. 2nd thought: nah. I'ma stay home. Ha

At home, I don't drink. But when I go out, most people are drinking, so I join in. "When in Rome..."... you know. But alcohol really loosens up my tongue & inhibitions & I love to talk about antinatalism & it comes spilling out as they recoil in horror hahaha
