What a nightmare. The poor guy is in a living hell. And of course this affects everyone around him. Bless your heart for trying to be there for him. I'm not sure I would have your level of strength and commitment.

That sounds awful. I get a little paranoid, especially since my next door neighbor went on a killing spree a few months ago. But I'm not that bad. I don't think I could do what you are doing. I'm not that strong. You are a powerful woman. I admire you.

It's like a scene from The Exorcist. It's like he's possessed by demons & lashes out at you all & you have to be strong & not take it personal. It's got to be tough on all of those involved. I hope the drugs kick in soon & get him calmed down.

Personally, I wouldn't want to go see Metallica. Being in a large crowd like that would make me crazy. Haha. But to each their own. If it makes you and him happy, then go for it. I am not against happiness as long as no one is harmed.

Well, if you do it, don't do it expecting anything from him in return, like appreciation. You know he's not well. Just do it out of the goodness in your heart & then let it go. I'm not trying to lecture you. Just tryin to head off any resentment later on.

I hate goin anywhere, anymore. Haha. But when I was 30, like you, I was bouncing around all over the place. So, go for it. Do what you want to do. Travel, go to concerts, see your friends. Enjoy yourself. You deserve it.
