There's no such thing as a non-existent child. That which is non-existent is not anything. It can't even be thought of or talked about. We may as say unicorns and elves live in the non-existent realm. It's la-la land. Fairy tale land.

But the child does exist as a potentiality. Which is not the same as unicorns and elves because we don't have the ability to create those.

But, her explanation is so deluded and convoluted. Just say you dont want to bring a child into the world because it would be cruel to do so. There's no need to create an imaginary world where non-existent people come from. That's nonsense.
