I used to play music all the time. But lately I can't stand most of it. Just meaningless vocal sounds of people going "blah blah blah" or something to that effect. I've reached the saturation point, I guess.

Some of that binaural and ASMR stuff is hypnotic. It slows your brainwaves down. Creates a sense of relaxation and well being. Nothing wrong with that.

I think there is an entity within the Internet that starts to take over your psyche and begins to control you and the more you engage it, the stronger a force it becomes. An Internet demonic force. I have succumbed to it. I am possessed by it. I am its slave.

I don't know. I'm just kind of running with a metaphor there. But maybe I'm onto something. The computer screen shoots light into you through thousands of pixels. You are the screen. Your brain has to put the pixels together to make the image. It's inside you

I did not know that. I'm not very well read regarding Gnosticism. I view spiritual texts as symbolic of psychological struggles within the human psyche and the desire to overcome blockages and become more integral.
