another example of a backwards society. since i've been working at my job, 2 coworkers were fired bc they tried (nonviolently) to stop shoplifters. the shoplifters have all the rights; we have none

Is it because the corporations do not want to be liable for any harm that is done to employees who try to apprehend criminals?

prob. i'm pissed off at my coworker for doing it. she knew better. now i have to be at work at 6am everyday so far since she's gone. trying to be a hero. he stole the shit anyway & she got fired: stupid. frustrating you can't do anything about it, but ya can't
