I'm always amazed when some old person dies and everyone is like shocked and upset as if they didn't know that old people died

Ever notice how much time & attention's publicly lavished on the very final stage of life as it's experienced by likely 99% of humans...the last hours & minutes?
Me either. There's not much there to exploit, glamorize or hold up as inspirational. Bad for business, in other words

It's kinda comical when they announce that someone deep in their 80s (even 90s!) kicks the breathing habit & some deep thinker says, "Did they give the cause of death?" LOL, They were stooped over, deaf, had to be helped outta chairs, & had to pull their socks on in shifts! WTF
