Damn! That sucks. I know a guy whose daughter is 14 & her knee dislocates all the time. They're talking surgery but the girl doesn't want it. It's so sad to see young children suffer like that. And you and your brother, my God, what torment you must go thru.

I should exercise more but my depression has been strong lately. The weather has been bitter cold and snowy lately, too, and that doesn't help. I live at the foot of a good size hill. Just hiking to the top & back is a hell of a workout.

You don't have to exercise that much if your aim is only to stay in shape. Walking for just an hour every day is enough. I've been doing that for the past 32 years. Before that, I was young so I was moving my body vigorously all the time. I quit smoking and drinking some time ago
