Your story is similar to mine. It was around 12 or 13 that I knew I was antinatalist & I've only gotten moreso over time. When I did discover AN was a philosophy, I started reading & listening to other ANs & it helped me to articulate it better.

If you've been an AN since age 12 or 13, what were you before that age, like at age 7 or 8? As far back as I can remember, bringing new life into the world was a horror to me.

Before 12, I had little to no understanding of sex or procreation. But when I hit puberty & junior high school, I intellectually realized that I did not want to procreate & force another to go thru this torturous existence.

Same here. I can remember walking thru the hallways of junior high school & the dread & loathing in the eyes of most everyone & I thought I am not forcing anyone else to go thru this wretched prison of existence. #antinatalism
