I went out into the world today. I could see everybody running around & doing stuff & in a hurry & talking feverishly. And not a single bit of it was necessary. Not even their own existence. If there had been no one at all, it would've been just as important.

What about your tweet? If it helps persuade one person in favour of antinatalism, is it important? If the person decides against having children, thus saving a massive number of descendants from existence, isn't that massively important? Is antinatalism the exception to nihilism?

That's a good question. I am such a pessimist that I think our efforts in AN are negligible. I'll have to give this some thought and get back to you.
