they know there's something wrong w/you (depression, OCD, etc), but they don't let that get in the way of judging & criticizing you, bc that's their raison d'être

Like chickens in the chicken coop. There's a pecking order. One chicken pecks on another. And that one pecks on another one. And on down the line. The weakest chicken gets pecked to death. It's called the "precious gift of life."
