Maybe you should try eating a little bit. I don't think this starving yourself trip that you've been on lately is healthy. Moderation is the key. Need to maintain a balance.

The Arabs have a very long history of Ramadan. As an Arab, you may be much more comfortable with fasting than we non-Arabs can be. I have no idea when fasting can begin to be risky. In any case, I hope everything will be all right.
Thank you, Antwan and Sarah. I had somehow got confused about how Ramadan really works. So Ramadan fasters get to eat every night, huh? No wonder the Ramadan-fasting laborers managed to work all right on a construction site under intense heat in Iraq, where I was working.

I tried to fast Ramadan once with some Muslims. I couldn't do it. I'm weak. The Shaitan's got a hold on me. I got no iman. I am destined for the jahannam. Antwan the Damned.
I told you already I used to hang with the Muslims. I read all the books. I went to masjid, mashallah. I went to their homes. We'd eat sitting on the floor. You can only use your right hand. Never the left. But it was a long time ago & i've forgotten a lot.
