One downside of #immortality: over an infinite lifetime everything will eventually happen to the immortal one, including getting killed -- or almost -- and I would not like most of these 'almosts'.

Yes, I think some would go for #LifeExtension but he challenge would be to avoid becoming jaded or dead ended; #immortality like infinity is could never be attained. One would also have to keep the #VirtualReality suit in good condition.
