I'm not sure how you are confused? A puppet is pushed & pulled by forces outside itself. The puppet isnt pulling the strings. We're all puppets, prodded by genetics, environment conditioning, & so on. The desire to be other than what one is creates suffering

I meant to write "environmental" conditioning. Ha! But you got it. Any desire to be other than what one is causes inner conflict... suffering. Let nature take its course.
