This stuff isn't scientific, though, right? I mean... there's no hard science to back any of it up. I remember kooky hippies talkin about leylines way back when & they were using slingshots to try to find them & water dowsing rods & so on.

Well, it's all stories. I don't know what's true or not true. It makes for a good story, though. I'm not saying it did or didn't happen. I have no way of knowing. I'm a skeptical empiricist. I need evidence.

Yeah. I'm pretty secular. I remember when I was hanging w/ the Muslims, they were into all kinds of superstitious stuff, the jinn & the evil eye & all kinds of spooky shit I thought had died out in the Middle Ages. Hahaha. Little did I know...

I have one superstition: I never talk about my car. If someone says "How's ur car running?" I don't answer & change the subject. If I say "It's running fine." I will go out & it won't start. Or it'll break down. Haha. I also knock on wood sometimes.
