I don't think the Middle East is the place for you. That would be like being in religious school for life. The Muslims would probably have you executed. You're a free thinker. Religious fundamentalists cannot tolerate that.

Your personality would probably fit in here in the US about as well as anywhere. Freedom of speech is under attack from the left but it's still pretty wide open here. Lots of diverse lifestyles. You would surely find a niche here in the States.

Same here. I am not like any of my relatives. A complete anomaly. I eschewed materialism & the mainstream way of life early on. Was kind of a hippy, beatnik, artist, philosopher type. An oddball. Ha!

Same here. I don't proselytize. But if I see someone showing interest in AN or a pessimistic subject, I may encourage them & provide sources of information & so on. But I don't preach.
