My family was violent but they did not drive me to suicide. Like you, I think it made me stronger. I became more headstrong. Defiant. High school was demoralizing. I turned to drugs. Expelled senior year. Arrested but charges didnt stick. Hahaha

I think one's genetic make up may have something to do with it. We each get a unique genome which may or may not have the coding necessary to handle various survival situations. It's luck of the draw. We each are dealt a hand & must bluff & play it out.
