I think some are snake oil salespeople & others are just deluded people wanting it so bad they are deceiving themselves (and others). Yes, religion is based on fear. Capture the ppl's fear ("ur going to hell") & you can rule over them & fleece them, too.

I see a lot of consumers in stores that look to me like they are possessed by spirits or demons or whatever you wanna call it. They look crazed.

Here in the States, there have been people trampled to death trying to get into stores on Black Friday. And, fighting over consumer products is commonplace.

Nothing illustrates the decline of this failed species like a herd of zombies storming the doors at Walmart on Black Friday, to fight over shit they don't need, paying for it with money they don't have, to impress other zombies they don't like.
