what about men? i get called "buddy" quite freq, & it makes me cringe internally every time. 1 reg customer is relentless about it. he tacks "buddy" onto almost everything he says to me. i feel like saying, "i'm not yr buddy, & i never will be" #antinatalism #retailproblems

I live in Appalachia and I get called "honey" & "sweetie" quite a bit at shops & restaurants. It used to catch me off guard, like "are you comng on to me?" but now I don't even think about it. Haha. Sometimes, I call them "honey" back just for laughs.

Haha. I know what you mean. When someone calls me "buddy", like "hey, buddy" or "listen up, buddy", I know right away they don't really mean "buddy". But when females call me "honey", I don't know, I can't really get mad. I'm like "If u only knew the real me"
