OK. That's what I thought. Muhammad conquered most of Arabia. Then Abu Bakr & Omar & Uthman & Ali kept up the momentum until they had conquered all of the Midde East, N. Africa, parts of India & China & so on. That's my understanding. They amassed an empire.

I think the Jews still sacrifice animals in various rituals. The hardcore, Orthodox ones, that is.

Christians love to eat meat, though. They say God gave them the animals to have dominion over them yada yada yada. They love their pork & beef & chicken & lamb & anything that moves, practically. Haha

Devout Muslims would not accept your views. If you went back to Iraq, now, I think you would have a hard time of it. My understanding is that it has become more fundamentalist Islam than when Saddam ruled.

Toppling Saddam was one of the stupidest things the US ever did. Ignorant Americans think he was some kind of Islamic fundamentalist. They have no idea. The ignorance in the USA is staggering. I hardly talk to anyone anymore. It's hopeless.

He was a Stalinest, a Ba'athist. A total atheist. He played like he was a Muslim if it would appease the Muslim masses. But any kind of jihadi operation he would stamp out with an iron fist. He was a total secularist. Indeed.
