I had no idea Halloween was global. I guess global capitalism has sold it as a commodity thru out the world. It's rooted in medieval Europe. It seems weird to me that it is celebrated in New Zealand.

I can see how Australia would have Halloween. I guess New Zealand was a British enclave too. But Halloween is not celebrated in Iraq, right? Muslims won't condone foreign pagan rituals. Right? Ironically, the Christians love it here in America.

I thought Islam was when the Prophet Muhammad, sallallahu alayhi wa salam, rode into Mekka & destroyed all the pagan idols in the Ka'aba except for Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala. No? From that time on, Islam was pure monotheism.

I live in a rural area. No one knocks on my door. Watching scary movies & eating junk food is my religion. And make up & slutty lingerie is always cool (just not on me). I watched "Scream of Fear" (1961) this afternoon. Really good. Good story. Tricky ending.
