Antinatalism is the ultimate "victimhood complex". The AN says "I was born without my consent. Life was imposed on me. I'm a victim of being born. Boo hoo!" No?

I am not saying being a victim is "wrong". I was merely describing the anatomy of the classic antinatalist argument and describing it as a victim mentality. "Life is an imposition". "No consent". These are the positions of a victim.

But being a real victim is a fact not an attitude. We are victims of natural catastrophes, of illness, of war, of being born without consent, of violence who we are not able to prevent etc. We have to stop to look at the status of the victim in an ideological way.

And we are the victim of sexual abuse too. Mostly women but men too. People love to complain but no one wants really being a victim because it is humiliating. Sometimes to recognize your own status of victim request more bravery that acting stoic.

Well, we're getting off topic but I completely understand your tweets & agree. I merely responded to @LonePandaRoams, when she said she didn't like "victimhood complexes", that antinatalism is based on a victimhood complex. Pretty much everyone agrees, so far
