With U on part 1. But, I think while "nothing really matters" lets us off a hook, maybe it's one that keeps us from suffering even more. Until the big light DOES go out, it can always get worse, so maybe SOME moves are worse than others. Just sayin'
..any 2nd thoughts on that?

I was making an observation. Since in the end, everything returns to nothing, therefore, nothing matters.
