Life sucks in so many ways. You get to know someone or some animal & you get attached & then they die & it hurts but you're glad you knew them but you're sad they're gone, etc. It's kind of selfish to hang on to them. To want them as comfort, as a crutch.

I've been wanting to read that book. I've read a lot of quotes by Sarah Perry & I like her. I have so many books that are partially read, already, & in need of being finished, that I am reticent to get more. I used to read books a lot more in the past.
