Well, the Bible is not one book. It is a compendium of 66 books by a variety of authors. In other words, the Bible also says that it is better to have never been born (Ecclesiastes, 4:3).

I agree life was started by accident. But there is no "source" or "god" that engineered it. A DNA molecule in the primordial swamp managed to replicate itself 4 billion years ago & it spread like a wildfire across the globe & morphed into a variety of species
