thanks for the idea! jk, i wouldn't trust some1 2 do it. it reminds me of that movie where Bjork played a blind woman, & a guy wanted her to kill him, & it ended up being slow & painful (bc she's blind) it was hilariously absurd

Panda, you made me think of another movie: "Shut Up & Shoot Me". A film about a guy who hires someone to kill him but the would be assassin keeps foiling the attempts. It's a dark comedy.

I like a lot of different kinds of movies. Some would not be to most people's taste. So, I only recommend films that I think are relevant to a person's predisposition. I saw the aforementioned movie a few years ago. I found it entertaining.

I'm a big fan of horror films. Horror encapsulates the human condition better than any other, IMO. The "monsters" are metaphors for the life threatening conditions we all find ourselves in. Frankenstein (1931) & Bride of Frankenstein (1935) are masterpieces

There's a B rated movie called "It's Alive" (1974) in which parents have a child who turns out to be a hideous mutant killer. But their love for the thing enables it to stay alive and wreak havoc upon society. A great AN film, in my opinion. Bizarre.

I'm not very much into horror films, but I did love reading several Stephen King horror NOVELs once. It's not that his plots are horrific. It's his linguistic style (the phrasing and wording he uses) that is terrifying. It's as though the typeset printed on the pages terrifies me

I don't know if Stephen King is horrific in his translations. At least his original English version is terrifying. It's not exactly that he uses particularly terrifying words. I can't explain why and how his phrasing terrifies me. He's a strangely skillful writer.
