Panda, you made me think of another movie: "Shut Up & Shoot Me". A film about a guy who hires someone to kill him but the would be assassin keeps foiling the attempts. It's a dark comedy.

I'm a big fan of horror films. Horror encapsulates the human condition better than any other, IMO. The "monsters" are metaphors for the life threatening conditions we all find ourselves in. Frankenstein (1931) & Bride of Frankenstein (1935) are masterpieces

There's a B rated movie called "It's Alive" (1974) in which parents have a child who turns out to be a hideous mutant killer. But their love for the thing enables it to stay alive and wreak havoc upon society. A great AN film, in my opinion. Bizarre.

The original Godfather is a masterpiece. Brando was (and still is) the greatest actor of all time. The scene alone where he comes in to the funeral home to view his son's remains is priceless. Such torment & pain in his facial features... incredible portrayal
