I climbed a couple of 14ers out in Colorado many years ago. It is a bitch. Painful. Your muscles ache from lack of oxygen. Heart is pounding. Hard to breathe. It's like "what the fuck am I doing this for?" lol. But the view was spectacular.

It was back in my younger days. I used to like to go camping in wilderness areas for extended periods of time. Totally disconnect from society. One day, me & another guy said "Hey, let's climb that mountain." So we did.

I know. I would spend 2, sometimes 3 weeks at a time in the wilderness areas of Colorado, New Mexico, West Virginia, etc., hardly seeing another person. When I would eventually have to go back to society, it was always such a let down; depressing.
